For the last fifty years, the ISA products have been proof that technical and economic success can be achieved thanks to brown-egg hybrids. Further improvement in these economic results is possible thanks to balanced selection methods employed by our company. However, we are well aware of the fact that whatever the intensity and selection methods employed, the genetic potential of our animals would be of no use without the experience and knowledge offered by farm managers and animal keepers. Therefore, the presented manual attempts to point out specific rules related to egg production in alternative systems and, consequently, to promote the achievement of the desired results.
